So today's blog post comes to all my friends out there who are feeling like they are not making it as a writer. I say that to include not only the people who wish to write as a profession but to those of us who may just write for acceptance and haven't gotten out of it what you have put in it.
I am talking to those who stay up late writing notes in a worn down, torn up Wal-Mart note book. To those who so desperately want their work to be read but are afraid of the insight into their deepest parts of their souls that others will see with in the words on the pages.
To those that have struggled in life and have found strength and comfort in creating fantastic worlds filled with wonder and amazement.
I am talking to you. You who are reading this and are feeling unmotivated and are on the verge of giving up. I have one thing to ask of you.
Please don't give up. Please pick up the pen one more time. Find the strength to type one more line. Find within yourself the twinkle of hope that help others.
I myself have found my way down that path, ready to quite and never write again. Listening to the negative reviews of my work and feeling unworthy to be called an author. I found my way back by watching young writers beginning their journeys and pushing through the hard parts. I was rejuvenated by the workings of unpublished, unedited writers whose soul purpose of writing was for the enjoyment of the art. Please don't stop writing, your characters need you, your fans need you, I need you.
